Epigenetic modifications are reversible modifications that affect gene expression without altering the DNA sequence and can be inherited during cell division. There are two main types of epigenetic modification: DNA methylation and chromatin modification. Epigenetic modifications play important roles in gene expression and regulation, and are involved in numerous cellular processes such as in differentiation, development and tumorigenesis. Epigenomics is the study of the complete set of epigenetic modifications on the genetic material of a cell (Shikai Yan et al., 2018).
CD Genomics provides several kinds of NGS library preparation kits to meet your Illumina sequencing needs, which enabled a broad range of applications including Whole Genome Bisulfite Sequencing (WGBS), Reduced Representation of Bisulfite Sequencing (RRBS) and protein-DNA interaction research.
