Senior Scientist, Long-Read Sequencing
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled scientist to join our big family. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge long-read sequencing technologies and contribute to CD Genomics' goal of advancing genomics research and accelerating biotechnology adoption.The qualified candidate will be responsible for the further development of CD Genomics's long-read sequencing services, including managing and executing sequencing projects, product development related to the long-read sequencing platform, assisting the marketing and sales departments with technical support, and so on.

Basic Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in genetics, genomics, molecular biology, molecular cell biology, bioinformatics, or related fields.
- More than five years of genomic research experience and in-depth knowledge of sequencing technologies.
- Experience in the construction and use of the long-read sequencing platform is preferred.
- Management experience is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and analysis capabilities.
- Able to work under stress.
- Good writing, presentation, and oral communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management and implementation of the sequencing projects on the PacBio SMRT/ Oxford nanopore sequencing platforms.
- Responsible for the development, optimization and implementation of standard working procedures for various molecular biology techniques related to long-read sequencing.
- Responsible for product development of long-read sequencing platform and related reagents.
- Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for customer inquiries.
