Job Description:

We are now looking for a motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join us. As part of the team, you will help identify and cultivate opportunities for new and existing clients through outbound and inbound inquiries. This position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, presentation and negotiation skills, and a solid knowledge base in genomics and transcriptomics. The qualified candidate will be responsible for further expanding our range of long-read sequencing services in established markets, providing technical support to our customers, and business development of long-read sequencing services.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in cellular and molecular biology, genetics, genomics, biochemistry, or related fields.
  • Strong pioneering spirit, strong customer service, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong sense of teamwork.
  • No sales experience is needed.
  • Able to work under stress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Explore and develop new markets.
  • Increase sales value and control costs according to the company's marketing strategy.
  • Explore and cultivate potential customers and build relationships with client project teams which result in client satisfaction.
  • Identify potential long-read sequencing services and related products, attend scientific meetings and trade/vendor shows.
  • Collect front-line marketing information and user opinions to provide a reference base for the company's marketing strategy and after-sales service.
