Amino Acid Analysis Service

Amino acids are the basic components of biologically functional macromolecular proteins, and are the basic substances that constitute proteins required for animal nutrition.

Protein in food can be broken down by intestinal bacteria to produce peptides and amino acids. Among them, branched chain amino acids such as valine, leucine and isoleucine can be further metabolized by bacteria to form branched chain fatty acids. The bacterial metabolites of aromatic amino acids such as phenylalanine, tryptophan and tyrosine are phenols and indole substances.

Amino acids play an important role in material metabolism and immune function regulation. The full spectrum of amino acids is a balanced state in the body. The imbalance of this state is the cause or manifestation of many diseases. Amino acids are involved in metabolism, tumors, immunity, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, nervous system, kidney disease, diabetes, sub-health, senile diseases and many other links such as human growth and development, nutrition and health, musculoskeletal growth, hormone secretion, detoxification and so on.

Metabolic pathways utilized for production of amino acids and amino acid-related compounds in microorganisms

Metabolic pathways utilized for production of amino acids and amino acid-related compounds in microorganisms (Hirasawa et al., 2016)

CD Genomics uses the LC-MS/MS technology platform to achieve absolute quantification of amino acids in a variety of species and biological samples to meet different detection requirements. In addition, we can also implement one-stop, personalized data analysis to help you achieve better data interpretation.
