Human Methylome Panel

DNA methylation is one of the earliest DNA modification pathways discovered by scientists. At present, a large number of studies have confirmed that DNA methylation modification can cause changes in chromatin structure and DNA stability, thereby regulating the expression of genes in the body. In mammalian cells, methylation mainly occurs on the cytosine of CG dinucleotide. Detection and quantification of methylation are critical to understanding gene expression and other processes subjected to epigenetic regulation.

Based on efficient trace DNA library construction technology and targeted methylation liquid-phase capture sequencing technology, our R&D team has launched a DNA methylation targeted detection solution, mainly including:

1. Human Methylome 3.4 M Panel
2. Human CpG Island 2.0M Panel

The system implements a technical strategy of first-transformation and simultaneous capture of positive and negative strands for low input DNA and cfDNA samples, maximizing detection efficiency and accuracy, and achieving targeted methylation detection with an input amount as low as 10 ng.

Methylome panel covers the most important methylated regions (CpG islands, gene promoters and enhancers, etc.) on the human genome with relatively low sequencing data, and the effective sequencing depth can reach 20-30X, so it has more accurate methylation detection accuracy. It's widely applicable to genomic DNA and multiple types of cfDNA; and used in application scenarios such as early cancer screening, MRD detection, and recurrence detection.

Human Methylome 3.4M Panel

Based on the MethylDesign methylation capture system, we launched a CD Human Methylome 3.4M Panel, covering 3.4M CpG sites, comprehensively covering 850K methylation chip sites (over 94%) and UCSC, Ensembl, ENCODE and other databases concerned important methylation sites and genomic elements such as promoters, CG islands, enhancers, etc.

Human CpG Island 2.0M Panel

Based on the MethylDesign methylation capture system, we launched a  CD Human CpG Island 2.0M Panel, covering 2M CpG sites, >25,000 CpG Island ~20 Mb region,Comprehensive coverage of important methylation sites and genomic elements, such as promoters, CG islands, enhancers, etc., that UCSC, Ensembl, ENCODE and other databases focus on.
