Specific Epigenomic Differential Peak Analysis Approaches We Offer
- In order to compare different conditions, CD Genomics can perform statistical comparisons of identified peaks or can call differential peaks directly from the respective read coverage signals.
- Similar to differential gene expression analysis, differential peak analysis yields estimates of effect sizes and statistical significance. These statistics can be visualized as volcano plots.
- Since genome-wide epigenomic measurements produce continuous signals across the genome, such analyses may also focus on specific regions of interest, such as promoters of proteins of interest or known binding sites. Density heat maps are used to visualize the signal at sites of interest under different conditions.
