| Product Description: | Trypanosoma cruzi is a parasitic protozoan. Genomic analysis showed that the species has two distinct lineages, one infecting marsupials and the other infecting placental mammals. The most common symptom of trypanosomiasis is swelling of one eye, but other symptoms include fatigue, fever, swollen lymph glands, and an enlarged liver or spleen. CD Trypanosoma cruzi Real-time PCR Kit can be used to detect Trypanosoma cruzi in the sample based on probe-based real-time PCR technology. The primer sequences were designed according to the 18S ribosomal RNA (18S) gene of T. cruzi provided by the database. For research use only. |
