| Product Description: | The CD CBFB-MYH11 One-Step RT-PCR Kit is used to detect hematological malignancies with characteristic chromosomal translocations. The kit also requires a real-time PCR instrument capable of detecting FAM and VIC fluorescence. Characteristic chromosomal translocations are thought to play an important role in the pathogenesis of leukemia and lymphoma. Assessment of minimal residual disease (MRD) by detection of expression of fusion gene transcripts has been established as an important indicator of treatment stratification and prognosis in many leukemias. Monitoring of this chromosomal predisposition would be beneficial in the treatment of hematological malignancies. |
