Immuno-profiling

Overview of immuno-profiling

The main target of immunome library analysis is all functionally diverse immune cells in the circulatory system of an individual at a given time, which can be subdivided into B cell receptor library, T cell receptor library and antibody receptor library. There is a region on the B-cell receptor (BCR) and T-cell receptor (TCR) called complementary determining region (CDR), which contains CDR1, CDR2 and CDR3, of which CDR3 is the most variable and plays a key role in antigen recognition. The enormous diversity of BCR and TCR, generated by recombination of variable (V), diversity (D), and joining (J) loci, is key to the adaptive immune system. Immunoassays are focused around sequencing of the V(D)J region which can be applied to biomarker discovery, antibody drug screening, tracking of known library sequences and disease diagnosis. Immunome libraries can be characterized by the following items.

Overview of immuno-profiling

  • Clone Tracking
  • B-cell Profiling
  • Library Diversity
  • V/J Gene Usage
  • CDR3 Length Distribution
  • T-cell Receptor Aggregation
  • Probability of Receptor Production
  • CDR3 Amino Acid Composition

The workflow of immuno-profiling

CD Genomics provides you with NGS-based immunome analysis services focused around ultra-deep sequencing of the V(D)J region for full characterization of the entire BCR or TCR library. Our scalable technology platform allows for custom bioinformatics analysis. Analysis targeting the variable region will provide greater insight into immune cell differentiation, BCR somatic cell hypermutation, class switching and antigen specificity for application in diagnostic biomarker discovery, tracking of known library sequences and disease diagnosis. We have a standardized immunohistology analysis process with a team of experienced experts, while maintaining strict quality control standards.
