Tissue microarray are an important branch of biochip technology. Tissue microarray are miniature tissue arrays formed by grouping tens to thousands of small tissue sections on a single slide and are used to study the expression of the same gene or protein molecule in different cells or tissues.
CD Genomics offers a tissue microarray technology that uses mechanised preparation to integrate tens to thousands of donor paraffin tissue or cell specimens into blank recipient wax blocks to form tissue microarray wax blocks, which are transferred to silica and gelatinised slides via a sectioning aid system to create a high-throughput, large-sample tissue microarray biochip whose array size, arrangement and combination can be The size, arrangement and combination of the arrays can be pre-set to allow a variety of parallel histological or molecular biology analyses to be performed on a large number of different types of tissue samples of the same type or related to each other. We can offer our customers a wide choice of microarray formats, and we can accommodate a wide range of customised biological materials and customised plant and animal tissue microarray. Based on our tissue microarray technology, we can greatly help researchers to elucidate the similarities and variations of specific nucleic acid or protein molecules in tissue specimens and the expression of the same gene or protein molecule in different cells or tissues.
The application of tissue microarray technology has greatly facilitated the development of life science related research fields. In addition, tissue microarray technology can be applied in combination with many other conventional techniques such as immunohistochemistry (IHC) staining, in situ hybridisation (ISH), fluorescence in situ hybridisation (FISH) and other methods, and its application areas are expanding.
Type of sample | Various in vitro cultures of tissue cells and cell lines, various bacteria and yeasts, various normal and diseased animal tissues, embryonic tissues, model tissues, various transgenic animal tissues or organ samples, etc. |

Notes on sample delivery | For paraffin sectioning, tissue should be placed in fixative immediately after sampling to avoid freezing. Frozen sections should be made from fresh tissue to avoid loss of antigen. Tissue wax blocks can be stored for a long time, but paraffin sections should not be stored for more than six months. |
