DNA microarray technology refers to a new technique of immobilising thousands of DNA clones, synthetic oligonucleotide fragments on a solid surface (glass sheet or nylon membrane) and hybridising them with fluorescent or other labelled mRNA, cDNA or genomic DNA probes to rapidly detect the expression status of multiple genes or discover new genes at the same time, rapidly detect DNA sequence mutations, map SNP genetic chains, perform DNA sequence analysis, etc. The basic principle is based on southern hybridisation or spot hybridisation techniques.
CD Genomics specialises in life science research and provides high quality DNA microarray services to help researchers genotype and detect gene expression in plants and animals. Our DNA microarray can provide a comprehensive analysis of the whole genome or expression profile of plants and animals to identify differential genes or differentially expressed genes, helping researchers to better genotype and detect gene expression in plants and animals. It is also possible to perform repeated and detailed experiments and analyses of certain functionally relevant genes in plants and animals, which can lead to relevant results for specific genes and greatly save experimental costs.
Based on the application of DNA microarray, we help researchers to effectively promote the improvement of plant and animal species, accelerate plant and animal breeding research, and promote the rapid development of agricultural research. Not only do we offer our customers a wide range of DNA microarray formats to choose from, we can also provide customised DNA microarray services according to customer project requirements. Our pre-made microarray include a wide range of high-quality cDNA microarray, oligonucleotide microarray and SNP microarray for plant species such as wheat, maize, cotton, soybean and rice, as well as genomic microarray for animal species such as cattle, sheep, pigs and horses and microarray for some specific functional classifications.
In addition, DNA microarray are increasingly being studied in plant pathogens, particularly viruses and phytoplasmas.
